The Galley Head Swim is on again this year.
If you’re not familiar, this iconic 10km challenge sees swimmers start at the Red Strand near Ardfield in West Cork, tackling the legendary waters around Galley Head before rounding on the long 6km leg to The Warren in Rosscarbery.
Locals and swimmers from across the country head down annually to partake in the event, which this year is raising funds for Marymount Hospice, Cancer Connect, and CoAction.
In preparation for the big swim and to raise funds for this year’s chosen charities, the Bottlenosed Dolphins are inviting swimmers to come for a Stretch, Strip, and Dip on Sunday, June 11th, 2023.
