Start 2023 with a soothing Sound Bath in these West Cork Woods
The new year is upon us…
And everyone is full steam ahead into commitments and resolutions for 2023. But January is still winter; and by our clock, it’s still a time of rest, relaxation and rejuvenation.
Down in Myross Wood in Leap, Claire Marie Barton is hosting an atmospheric sound bath amongst the lush groves and protective thickets to help you shake off the holiday cobwebs, cleanse the spirit and set your intentions for the coming year at a slower pace.
You will lay down in the woods, the natural sounds of trees filling your experience, while a series of gongs play as you ‘enter an oasis of peace’.
Claire will also use her singing bowls to guide you through the two-hour process to clear your chakras and leave you feeling refreshed and restored- followed by a walk through the woods to connect you to your surroundings.

The Relaxing Sound Bath at CECAS, Myross Woods, Leap takes place on Saturday, January 14th from 10:30am-12:30pm. Tickets are €30 and you can purchase them from Claire’s website here.
Participants are urged to dress for the occasion, bring anything that will help them feel comfortable, and bring a yoga mat or blanket to lay on. You might also want to bring a journal and a bottle of water.
