These stunning cards will show you a new Irish wildflower every month in the New Year
It’s hard to learn new things as you get older…
Between school runs, work, food shopping, doctor visits and trying to keep up some semblance of a social life, we barely have enough time to shower- let alone sit down to study the country’s native flora.
But it’s a little bit magic to be able to spot the wildflowers that pop up in the springtime and confidently recall each name like a posh educated botanist.
This year, the photographer and entrepreneur Sophie O’Regan from The Quiet Creative has the perfect home accessory and wildflower guide for you to learn and decorate your home at the same time: a 2023 Irish Nature Desk Calendar.
Each month features an Irish wildflower that Sophie has photographed right here in Cork and also includes the Irish ainm for you to pick up a few cúpla focal as the year progresses. The calendars also come with a small wooden easel stand that fits all 12 months together.
