Spend New Year’s Eve partying in a church by the seaside

There’s time for one more ’22 adventure.
If you’re finding yourself at a bit of a loose end for New Year’s Eve and can’t stand the thought of pilling into packed pubs across the city, set your compass instead for Ballycotton and ring in the New Year at Sea Church.
The former church turned restaurant and music venue is hosting an energetic line-up of acts to countdown the clock.
Kicking off at 7pm, gala guests will be serenaded by Ruairi De Leaster and Simon Daly in the main bar with a prosecco reception and finger food before the party kicks it up a gear with a live performance by Jack Lukeman aka Jack L, who most recently performed with Imelda May, Glen Hansard and Loah to raise funds for Simon Community in Dublin.
After midnight has struck, round out the night with some wild dancing to your favourite tunes by the Sea Church in-house DJ until the fresh, wee hours of 2023.
