Find it challenging to shout about your skills?
Making the right connections for business building and career progression can be tricky if you’re an introvert.
Later this month there’s a chance to nip that reluctance in the bud when networking expert and NetworkMe founder Jean Evans hosts an open Speed Networking event.
And if you’ve been putting off networking because most of the events happen in the city and you’re based in West Cork, there’s more good news; this one is happening at The Maritime Hotel in Bantry.
Did we mention it’s free too?
During the evening, organised by Network Ireland West Cork, Evans will share unique insights into how to effectively network and grow in confidence both personally and professionally.

“Whether you’re a career woman looking for the next opportunity or a businesswoman looking for more ideal clients, this is a wonderful opportunity to meet likeminded women, boost your networking confidence and build relationships that can help you move your career and business forward exponentially,” said NIWC President Marie Wiseman of Wiser Marketing.
“You never know who in the room is the key to your next big opportunity, and best of all, it’s free to both members and non-members.”
Participants are encouraged to bring a plus one too—such as a family member, friend or work colleague—to increase potential networking opportunities and support other women.
To book your seat for the two-hour free session, which runs from 7pm to 9pm on the night, register on Eventbrite.
