People are dancing themselves fit all over Cork at this wildly popular class

Bored of the gym?
If schlepping away on a treadmill was never your idea of fun, a wildly popular fitness class could provide the perfect way to work up a sweat in record time… without setting foot in a leisure centre.
If you’re a fan of Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing With the Stars, you’ll already be familiar with some of the styles you’ll be trying at Dance Yourself Fit.
The fun, high-cardio dance workouts cover rumba, cha-cha, samba, waltz, jive and tango, to name but a few and can be enjoyed by adults of all abilities and ages – no partner required.
The classes, which are run at venues throughout Ireland and the UK, with a number of locations on Leeside, have gathered more than 5,000 five-star reviews on Google. Fans say that once they worked up the courage to attend one class they were hooked.

“The class structure is all about enjoyment and not taking things too seriously, having a laugh in a fun and relaxed environment that you will find both inspiring and motivating.” a spokesperson explained.
“Dancing is the tonic that will help you get moving and active! Increase your energy levels, mobility, and lung capacity, strengthen your core muscles and help you fit back into that dress or jeans that used to feel and look good on you.
Aside from the physical perks, dancing is a total mood changer – expect to smile and laugh out loud as you try to master the steps and get lost in the music.
Classes are now enrolling in Carrigaline, Model Farm Road, Douglas, Mallow, and Midleton with an eight-week term costing €88pp.
