This could make your combo-commute a bit easier.

If you cycle to and from the train station on a regular basis, you can now try out a new locker where you can stow your bike and belongings while you’re at work.

The wall of new bike lockers at Kent Station is operated by bikelocker.ie, which operates 470 of the handy lockers around the country.

Each Bike Locker is self-contained and has a hook for your wet weather gear and helmet. The lockers are only used by the renters too so there’s no sharing and it’s always accessible 24/7.

“Simply position your bike in the Bike Locker and close the door using the lock provided. It’s so easy even a child can store their bike in 10 seconds.” the company explains on the website.

The service has been gathering some positive reviews from users around the country.

“The locker is so spacious that I don’t have to carry helmet and/or wet gear to the office which also means wet gear is dry gear at home time – a welcome little plus in Irish weather.” said a customer at the Dundrum location in Dublin.

“Safety and comfort, for less than the price of a cup of coffee per week.”
