Everybody’s indulging their inner crafter these days.
Autumn is the perfect time to go all Martha Stewart and make something fabulous for your front door before Halloween.
And now there’s a perfect excuse to get creative; a Cork florist is hosting a pair of Autumnal Wreath Making Workshops in the Wine Tavern at St Luke’s Cross.
Kelly from The Flowersmith Studio, an adorable pop-up shop in the iconic St Luke’s Toll Booth, will be showing beginners the ropes, with a morning sessions and an evening session planned.
Both workshops promise to be fun and relaxed, whether you’re going along on your own or bringing a friend.
All necessary flowers, foliage and materials will be provided for participants, with tea, coffee and pastries to enjoy at the morning session while you work and wine and nibbles at the evening session to fuel your floral designs.
The first workshop takes place on Saturday morning, September 21st from 10am-12pm, with the second happening on Tuesday evening, September 24th, 2019 from 7:30pm-9:30pm.
Tickets are €60 (here) and you can also pick up Wreath Making Kit, with all the flowers, foliage and materials needed for making a beautiful wreath design, as well as a step by step tutorial, from the Toll Booth or Rant coffee shop, 85 The Cross in St Luke’s.
