Meet Cork’s working doggos at this Irish Guide Dogs open day

Dogs are the absolute best.
Show us a dog that’s trained to help humans however and we are fully there for handing out treats and belly rubs.
To that end, the dog loving Cork public is invited inside the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind HQ on the Model Farm Road, Cork on Saturday, August 31st, 2019 for a day of celebrating the hero dogs that change the lives of the visually impaired and families of children with autism.
A fun-filled day kicks off at 12pm until 4pm, with something for all the family including entertainment for the children.
Visitors will be able to view the training centre, meet the staff and dogs, watch dog demonstrations and browse the farmers market.
Tickets, €5 per person or €10 per family, will be available at the gate on the day.
There are no pet dogs or parking allowed on site but shuttle buses will be running to and from CIT (Cork Institute of Technology) every fifteen minutes.
