Love an ‘ole Christmas carol?Jingle all the way to this pub on Saturday

Is your radio tuned to Christmas FM since November?
If Christmas carols make your days all merry bright, there’s a real-life event that will truly set your baubles aglow happening in town this weekend.
The sixth annual Christmas Jingle charity concert is returning to The Oliver Plunkett on Saturday, December 17th, 2022, kicking off at 3pm until 5pm.
If you’re passing on the evening, look up; there will be a live performance on the balcony of the popular venue, with The Songstress and The Loungeman bringing Christmas tunes and vibes aplenty.
Singers and musicians from all over Cork will be taking part and previous surprise guests have included Mick Flannery, so you never know who will take the stage. Guests will be greeted with mulled wine and nibbles and this year’s Christmas Jingle will also feature a raffle with prizes from local businesses.
The best bit? Tickets are only €12 and all proceeds from this year’s concert will go to Enable Ireland.
“We’re delighted to be back this year, with an alternative twist, which will see live performances on the balcony of The Oliver Plunkett Bar.” said organiser Marguerite O’Connor.
“The concert is all in aid of the very worthy cause, Enable Ireland. Please help us to make this a very special Christmas for all. Grab tickets early to be sure of admission.”
It’s the perfect excuse for a post-Christmas shopping drink in town. You can nab a ticket here.
