We can’t wait to stop by.
Cork brothers Liam and Ciarn Horgan have opened up their first permanent restaurant, following in the success of their Dacent Munch burger truck.
Now operating out of Mayfield Shopping Centre, the lads officially opened yesterday, seeing queues that suggest their new spot is going to be a massive hit. For now, the restaurant is accepting both collections and walk-ups and hopes to launch a delivery service “once we find our feet.”
Writing on Instagram, the Horgan brothers said: “We would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who made this happen including family, friends and of course our loyal customers.”
Originally located at Tolisons Service Station, the boys are known for their extravagant burgers, such as the signature Dacent Munch burger: “Two of our signature smashed patties topped in American sliced cheese, sits below the juiciest homemade buttermilk chicken breast 🐔 All topped off with our deep-fried battered shoestring onions 🔥 Smothered in our very own sham sauce and all thrown between our beautiful toasted brioche buns.”
I mean, just look at this thing.
Other burgers on the menu have names such as “The Cure,” “The Beour” and “The Feen.”
