On the lookout for a new dinner spot?

If you like to kick back with a cocktail or two before you order, there’s a seat at the all-new Electric with your name on it.

The South Mall bar and restaurant underwent a major overhaul during the lockdown and they’ve just unveiled a swish new area in the part of the building formerly known as the Fish Bar.

With gorgeous river views and plush, Instagram-friendly seats, it’s a gem of a setting for a get-together with mates or a fancy first date.

Plus, the cocktail list deserves your attention; ours is a Vodka Razza; a Cork staple reinvented and presented as a bubbly concoction of Absolut vodka, kaffir lime and black raspberry.

“If you fancy a drink pre-dinner or want to bunker down for the night and have a few bites overlooking the Lee you can book your seat on electriccork.ie or ask your host at the door.” the management announced on Instagram.

The Cocktail Room at Electric is open Wednesday to Saturday from 4pm.
