Keep an eye on Instagram for the next impromptu Yoga at the Lough sesh’

It’s time to seize the daylight.
Once you’re adequately sunscreened, there are countless benefits to spending more time outdoors during the summer.
Fresh air and sunlight provide essential vitamin D, which promotes bone health and strengthens the immune system, and being surrounded by natural beauty and green spaces has even been shown to enhance cognitive abilities, including attention span, memory, and problem-solving skills.
Cork yogi Mary Kelly has certainly been taking advantage of the fine weather we’ve been having (and hoping for more) with some impromptu early morning yoga classes on the swan-adjacent lawns of The Lough.

“It was such a great setting. So quiet and all you could hear was the flowing water and the birds,” said one well-stretched attendee.
Hopeful Lough yogis will have to keep their eyes peeled on Mary’s social media to find out when the next class will be, as sessions are weather dependent. Such is the nature of the Irish climate.
