We don’t need to be told twice.

There are not many places in the city that do a hot apple cider- most opt for the traditional hot toddy or Irish coffee if there’s some cream knocking around.

However, The Roundy is a bit of an institution here in Cork and like a lot of long-lasting establishments in the Real Capital, they know how to keep us punters happy.

At this time of year that only means one thing: the famous, annual hot apple cider is back on the board at the Castle Street pub making this our new favourite spot for an after-shop stopover.

So, if you like being in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the Christmas buzz, grab a table underneath the heater and warm your mittens on a hot glass this weekend before the season’s over and the ladle is retired for another year.
