Leave a coat for someone in need on the Wall of Kindness at these Cork locations

Just bought a new winter coat?
If your old one is gathering dust in the wardrobe, there’s a lovely little initiative that will make very good use of it this Christmas.
A number of Cork building sites have erected boarded walls featuring a line of hooks and the message: ‘Take a coat if you are cold, leave a coat if you don’t use it anymore.’
Have seen these at a couple of large building sites in #Cork. This one is to the rear of Carroll’s Quay car park. Another one on Morrisons Island. Worth sharing? @CorkCraneCount pic.twitter.com/BRrAiRTxQ1

The latest walls, erected by contractors Conack Construction and Elliot Group, allow kindhearted folk to donate a coat by simply leaving it on one of the hooks.
Anyone in need of an extra layer this winter can find it for free too – at any time of the day or night.
You’ll find a wall of Kindness at the back of the Carroll’s Quay Car Park in the city and another one on Morrison’s Quay.
