Here’s some good news for vegans.
Plant-based pop-up Vish opened to rave reviews in January and now the team behind the restaurant concept has decided to make it a permanent fixture on Cork’s dining scene.
With a new name – The Power Plant at Electric – the South Mall restaurant will add some much-needed choice to the city’s selection of vegan and veggie eateries, particularly at dinner time.
Dishes such as jackfruit nachos, palm heart calamari and ‘Veef’ burgers have been impressing non-meat-eaters and curious carnivores alike in the past weeks, making it easier than ever to eat less meat (one of the best things you can do to help the planet).
