This ice cream parlour is home to Ireland’s only Biscoff Sauce TAP

It’s the new Nutella.
If you have yet to taste the sticky, caramelised biscuity sauce that is Lotus Biscoff Topping Sauce, you couldn’t be in a better location.
Cork is now home to Ireland’s only Biscoff tap.
Yes, really; Swoon, the psychedelic ice cream parlour on the corner where Oliver Plunkett Street meets the Grand Parade, has just unveiled a free-flowing supply of the Belgian treat.
While we’re reliably informed you can’t pop your head under and pour it directly into your mouth, customers are invited to slather it all over their crepes, bubble waffles, and frozen yogurt treats.

Four new Biscoff related signature desserts have also been added to the Swoon menu, so you can still get your fix if you’re not quite confident enough to invent your own creation.
Belgian Lotus Biscoff has been experiencing a new popularity in recent years. A limited-edition Biscoff KitKat just hit the shelves in the UK (it’s similar in size to a KitKat Chunky but with an added layer of delicious Biscoff Topping).
Meanwhile London burger slingers Filthy Buns are using Lotus Biscoff biscuits as a topping on their Millionnaire’s Short Rib burger.
While we can’t say we’ll be joining the queue for a sweet and savoury burger, we’ll definitely be first in line for a Biscoff fro yo at Swoon this weekend.
