There’s a new yoga studio on South Mall (and unlimited free classes run all next week)

Fancy a class at lunchtime?
The ever-popular Himalaya Yoga Valley has announced its long-awaited return to Cork City.
This Monday, the enthusiastic yogis are set to unveil a brand new South Mall Studio promising a stunning 2000 square foot space where people can connect with their inner worlds, and find balance, restoration, and rejuvenation.
This will be their third location in Cork, with their Ballincollig and Midleton locations serving the suburbs. The new South Mall branch is set to attract yoga enthusiasts living and working in the city.
To celebrate, the studio is offering unlimited free classes for an entire week from Monday, September 11th to Tuesday, September 19th.
“When the pandemic hit we had no choice but to close our doors in the city, this was a huge blow for all of our team and our clients who relied on yoga during challenging times.” said said Himalaya Yoga Valley Director Maeve O’Brien.
“We pivoted and went online, held on to our Ballincollig studio, and with the support and encouragement of our clients, we kept our eye on the future and reopening in the city again.”
“We found a wonderful space to call home again and it’s hugely emotional after 3 years of having our doors closed to reopen again back where we began!”
Lisa Fahy, the senior teacher at Himalaya Yoga Valley, has curated a diverse range of classes for the week, catering to all kinds of practises. The studio’s offerings will include restorative yoga, yin, vinyasa flow, dynamic flow, beginner yoga, and gentle glow, ensuring there is something for everyone.
Himalaya Yoga Valley’s South Mall Studio, located on the 2nd Floor, 52 South Mall, will be open on Monday, September 11th with classes on seven days a week for each level and ability.
