Here’s when you expect this torrential rain to stop

While winds are expected to reach gale force along the coast early in the day, it will brighten up after lunchtime.
According to the national forecaster, the rain will begin to clear early this afternoon and some sunshine will develop with highest temperatures of between nine and eleven degrees.
Tonight will be cold and showery with lowest temperatures of zero to four degrees with frost away from the coast.
