Met Éireann has issued another Status Yellow wind warning for Cork

There’s another breezy one in store.
No need to untie the trampoline just yet – Met Éireann is forecasting another day of strong gusts tomorrow, Thursday, January 16th, 2020.
A Status Yellow wind warning has been issued for Cork, Wexford, Waterford, Kerry, Donegal, Galway and Mayo.
The national forecaster reports we can expect “South to Southeast winds 50 to 65 km/hr gusts 90 to 110 km/hr, strongest on coasts and hills” with a risk of coastal flooding around periods of high tides.
The weather alert is valid from 2am on Thursday morning until 2pm tomorrow afternoon.
