Handsome Paddy is a lonely lurcher who needs a home

How could anyone say no to these gorgeous brown eyes?
If you’ve decided 2018 is the year you expand your family by one furry, four-legged member, then this might be the nudge you need to make it happen.
This handsome boy is Paddy, a gentle bull lurcher who was rescued by the brilliant team at Cork Dog Action Welfare Group. Because the charity is at capacity and struggling to help every abandoned animal in their care, Paddy is currently being housed in kennels, but he’d be much more content sprawled out on a sofa.
His likes and dislikes are pretty straightforward; he loves nothing more than sleeping and eating. He’s not wild about cats.
Paddy, who is around four years old, enjoys the odd walk and a sniff about in nature so he’d be an ideal companion for someone who enjoys the odd ramble in the park, but he’s also quite happy to lounge around without making a fuss.
Lurchers are famously loyal and gentle so they make amazing family pets. Paddy gets on with all other dogs but as he is a bog strong boy, DAWG are hoping to find a feline-free forever home with children aged over five years.
