All aboard the ghost train.
Ireland’s only Model Railway Village is getting a spooky makeover for Halloween, as some creepy characters make themselves at home among the miniature streets for the season.
The Clonakilty tourist attraction, which has enthralled thousands of visitors each year since 1994, will open as the Haunted Village from October 23rd until October 31st, 2021, with plenty of ghoulish Halloween treats in store for little guests.

A fully scaled handmade model of the old West Cork Railway Line with working trains, the adorable village will soon be home to spirits, skeletons, mummies, and skulls, with tickets starting at €5.50 per child under 16 and €9.50 for adults.
Children aged under three go free.
While capacity is still restricted due to Covid-19 guidelines, the Road Train, which makes its way along Clonakilty’s narrow streets and lanes, is still running at the weekends.
