There’s a ton of Halloween happenings planned in Glengarriff this weekend

Planning a spooky spin this weekend?
If you’re looking for a scenic spot with a packed schedule of kid-friendly events on the go, make a beeline for Glengarriff on Saturday and Sunday, October 30th and 31st.
The seaside village is laying on two full days of Halloween fun for visiting children, complete withe all-day trick-or-treating in all businesses, a Scary Fairy Trail, a Fancy Dress Park Run in Glengarriff Woods Nature Reserve and a 5pm scary movie (Hotel Transylvania) for kids in the Community Hall – tickets are only €2 each, including drinks and treats.
At Quills you can try your hand at cookie baking, pumpkin carving and candle making before having your face painted on both days, while on Sunday you can visit the mysterious Blue Pool for an al fresco Spooky Story Telling.

There will be prizes for the best dressed throughout the weekend, so make sure everyone’s in costume before piling into the car.
