Get some expert advice on your woodworking project at this free DIY Clinic

There’s real joy in making something with your own two hands.
Even if you haven’t picked up a hammer since your Leaving Cert, it’s never too late to get creative in the shed and while away a few meditative hours on a little DIY project. It’s even good for your mental health.
If you’ve run into a problem or you need some guidance on how to finish (or start) a DIY woodworking project, an upcoming event will be just the ticket.
Organised as part of Cork Craft Month, Benchspace will host an Open Night and DIY Clinic on Friday, August 27th, 2021 from 6.30pm until 9.30pm. You can drop in and chat with an experienced craftsperson about your DIY endeavour and leave with plenty of good advice on how to complete it.
Benchspace is a Marina Commercial Park workshop that provides affordable access to workbenches and professional standard machinery to local learners, furniture makers, designers, and particularly to graduates and early career professionals.
To attend next weekend’s open night, just reserve one of the limited tickets here.
