You don’t need to head for Bali to enjoy a spiritual retreat.

While the lush fields and temples of Ubud are tempting for anyone hoping to Eat, Pray, Love their way into 2020, there’s another, much more affordable option happening just down the road in Clonakilty.

Naoise Galvin, who runs the @mysticalmammii feed on Instagram, is hosting a mini-retreat in aid of Pieta House on Sunday, February 9th, 2020.

It all happens at Unity Yoga on Spiller’s Lane in Clonakilty, where Naoise has joined forces with Luc and Jenny to plan ‘a day of play and connection’ from 2pm until 5pm.

The retreat promises a “warming, energising and deeply connecting experience with a Cacao Ceremony, healing essential oils and a guided soul space meditation.”

There will be a raffle on the day too with a variety of self-care themed prizes, including a healing reiki session and a six-week yoga course as well as plenty of homemade plant-based snacks to keep everyone going.

The best bit? 100% of the proceeds go to Pieta House, which provides a free, therapeutic approach to people who are in suicidal distress and those who engage in self-harm.
