Icy conditions are affecting travel around Cork this morning.
A hard frost overnight has made left dangerous icy patches in a number of locations, including Togher, Mayfield, Glanmire, Bweeng, Donoughmore, Vicarstown and Ovens.
Motorists are advised to slow down and take extra care, with reports of an overturned vehicle on the Curra Road in Crossbarry, while the cross-river ferry between Cobh and Passage West has been cancelled until further notice.
Due to a road closure on the Boreenamanna Road in Cork City, Bus Eireann has announced the 215A bus towards the South Mall will be diverted via Willow Lawn, Ballinlough Road, South Douglas Road, Southern Road, Infirmary Road.

According to Met Éireann, the frost, ice and fog patches are expected to clear later the morning and today will be dry with good sunny spells and highest temperatures of six to nine degrees.
Tonight will be cold and dry with clear spells, with temperatures due to dip as low as minus two degrees with a sharp frost and more mist or fog.
