Does this eerie photo capture the Spike Island ghost?

A visitor to Spike Island left with a rather unsettling souvenir over the weekend.
LinkedIn trainer Louise Bunyan snapped a photo of an abandoned prison corridor on her phone during the island’s popular After Dark tour.
On closer inspection, Louise claims there was more to the photograph than she initially thought.
Louise tweeted: “So went on the @SpikeIslandCork Afterdark Tour tonight… didn’t know what to expect & took this pic of an empty corridor in a prison building. The facial recognition circle came on even though there was no one there. What do you see?”

A few minutes later, the image was brightened by the @PhotosCork account.
The edit revealed a little more than anyone bargained for; standing in the darkness of doorway is the outline of a ghostly man.
While only the outline of the figure is visible, the man appears to have a moustache and it looks as though he is posing or standing with his fists raised.
Hi Louise. Your pic before and after, I’ve just brightened the shadows and tweaked the contrast, interesting stuff @SpikeIslandCork pic.twitter.com/7nJWrBk6N6

*shudder*
Here’s a close-up, in case you want to haunt your every waking minute with his spooky image…
“Sometimes you’re better off not knowing why the facial recognition comes on when the corridor is empty.” tweeted Louise.
We couldn’t agree more.
