Cork’s newest pub is also a grocery shop. Here’s a peek inside…

Here’s a brand new city spot to add to your list.
Crawford & Co. opened its doors on Anglesea Street this weekend, adding to the new wave of exciting pubs popping up on Leeside.
The new bar is located in the old Market Tavern building, which has had an extensive modern makeover.
Opening early from Monday to Friday to serve up Badger & Dodo and Red Strand coffee to the masses, Crawford & Co. will open at 10am on the weekends ‘serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, groceries, coffees, pints, cocktails, parties, craic & conversation’.
Just in time for payday too. Yay.
With a grocer’s shop full of goodies from Mr Bell’s Food Emporium in the English Market, Crawford & Co. has given us a legitimate reason to grab a pint before dinner – you can pick up that all important chipotle or tabasco sauce or a box of Maldon salt while you’re waiting for your pint to settle.
Hayley Power’s delicious organic herbal teas will be on offer if you fancy a non-alcoholic tipple or a post-yoga natter with your mates.
The decor is well worth checking out too – look out for the upcycled fireplace tiles, the opulent wallpaper in the loos and these gorgeous planters filled with greenery.
