Cork’s first club for adults with intellectual disabilities WILL be a regular event

The first one was a roaring success.
Now Cork’s first nightclub for adults with intellectual disabilities is set to become a regular fixture, with the next party already scheduled for Sunday, June 23rd, 2019.
DJ Stevie G and Craig O’Donovan joined resident DJ Jerry Mulcahy for the first instalment of the event last night at The Kino on Cork’s Washington Street.

The event, organised by Jerry’s dad Alan Mulcahy and local publican Ernest Cantillon to create a safe space for people with special needs to enjoy Cork’s social scene, was widely welcomed.
Stevie G shared the stage with DJ Jerry, who kept the dance floor rocking from 8pm until 11pm.
Looking forward to the next event? There’s a €5 per person entry fee on the door and carers and parents are free. The venue has full wheelchair access and toilets and the bar will be open, with teas and coffees available too.
