If the weather is good, it’s on.
Yoga in the Park returns to Fitzgerald Park, Cork City this Saturday, June 24th.
Starting at 10am and running each Saturday (weather permitting) until the end of August, the team from Himalaya Yoga Valley will be hosting the popular weekly summer event again this year in aid of Cork Simon Community.
The donation-based classes have raised over €75,000 for Pieta House and Cork Simon Community and often see up to 200 people in Fitzgerald Park rolling out their mats for a great cause.
“For close to a decade, we have had the privilege of hosting this event for Cork Simon Community,” said Himalaya Yoga Valley Director Maeve O’Brien.
“It gives us great pleasure to see people from all walks of life, ages, and fitness abilities attend this event every Saturday at 10am at Fitzgerald Park and we encourage everyone to come along a stretch it out for Simon!”
Those wishing to attend this weather-dependent event can sign up at yogacorkireland.com and bring a yoga mat and water.
Donations are gratefully received online and the link to donate will be sent to participants when they register.
The family-friendly event is suitable for all levels and you can follow Himalaya Yoga Valley Centre Cork on social media to keep up to date on weather updates each Saturday.
