A city hideaway has been recognised as one of the ‘Best of the Best’ attractions in Ireland

It’s an idyllic spot to while away a summer morning.
Now Cork’s Nano Nagle Place has been recognised as one of the Best of the Best tourist attractions in Ireland, thanks to outstanding visitor reviews and ratings.
The Douglas Street history museum, design shop, and garden, home to the popular Good Day Deli, is celebrating a 2023 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best award, ranking Nano Nagle Place as sixth of the Top 10 Things to Do in Ireland.

The site is one of two attractions recognised in Cork, with Spike Island in Cobh taking the number 10 spot. Apart from Nano Nagle Place and Spike Island, the only other attraction from outside of Dublin to feature on Tripadvisor’s list were the Cliffs of Moher in Co Clare.
“We are thrilled to hear the news that we have been recognised as a top attraction not only in Cork, but in Ireland as well,” said Susannah Ahern, Programme, Heritage & Education Manager of Nano Nagle Place.
“We are deeply humbled to be recognised among such esteemed peers and attractions. Winning this award is validation of our team’s hard work and dedication to spreading the message of Nano Nagle and providing the warmest welcome in Cork City!”
