Cork weather: Met Éireann forecast more rain and drizzle with a frosty night ahead

Keep your expectations low regarding the weather today.
Met Éireann is predicting more dull and damp conditions for the rest of Wednesday, with patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle spreading from the south.
“Although there will more prolonged dry spells during the middle of the day, more persistent rain will move in from the southwest during the afternoon and evening.” said a forecaster.
Highest temperatures will range between 7C and 10C.

The outlook for later isn’t much better with rain expected to extend to all parts early on. Clear spells will follow later in the night with a few showers developing by morning.
“Lowest temperatures of 0 to 4 degrees, with a slight touch of frost possible while light to moderate southeasterly winds gradually veer west to northwest, freshening as the rain clears.”
Tomorrow is looking a little brighter, with a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers in store on Thursday, although there is a slight chance of some hail during the afternoon.
