But there will still be some rain.
There’s a rainy weekend in store for Ireland but Cork will manage to escape the worst of it, according to Met Éireann’s latest regional forecast for Munster.
The heaviest rain Cork is set to experience will come today (January 28th), moving in from the west in the late morning. The weather will remain cloudy in the evening with patches of drizzle, especially in the west. We’re in for a relatively warm night, with temperatures of between 8 and 10 degrees.
Tomorrow a patchy outbreak of rain in the morning will clear by afternoon, making for a dry, cool day, with temperatures still at 8 to 10 degrees. Saturday night will be dry and clear but freezing cold, with temperatures dropping as low as -1.
Sunday morning will be dry though cloud will form over most of the country as the day wears on. This will be worst in the west and northwest, however, and Cork will avoid most of it.
Any wet weather in the southern half of the county will have cleared by the evening. The night will be cool with lows of between 2 and 5 degrees.
