Cork café unveils limited edition Bacon Bubble Waffle (and there’s only one way to order it)

Listen up, carnivores.
It’s International Bacon Day this Saturday, September, 4th and one city café is pulling out all the stops to make it a memorable one.
Cork’s very own Nana’s Tea on Paul Street has partnered with Deliveroo to delight baconholics in the city with a hefty portion of Bacon Bubble Waffles – available to order for one day only.
In case you’re unfamiliar, Bubble waffles were invented by shopkeepers in Hong Kong during the 1950s but have only recently taken Ireland by storm. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, this week they come topped with delicious rashers.
“Bubble waffles and bacon are the perfect combination.” said Joanne Kang, manager of Nana’s Tea.
“We’re delighted to provide our customers in Cork with an exclusive dish on Deliveroo that is fit for International Bacon Day.”
Nana’s Bacon Bubble Waffle costs €7.90 and will be available from September 4th – 7th, 2021. It can be ordered exclusively through Deliveroo at the Paul Street store.
