Cool and crisp: This week’s weather will be ideal for autumn strolls

Lovely stuff…
While there was a chilly start to Monday in the many places, any frost patches will clear by mid-morning and the last week of September will be mainly rain-free and sunny.
A few short showers will affect the western half of Munster on Tuesday morning but it will be dry otherwise “with good spells of sunshine developing later”, according to the national forecaster.
Wednesday boasts the best outlook so far, with top temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees.
It’s the perfect excuse to hit the Lough or the Regional Park after dinner.
