If you believe cheese makes every meal magical, your dream dining experience is about to happen in Cork.

Brace yourself cheese lovers; The Cork Cheese Dinner will take place at the Cork Airport Hotel on Friday, September 28th, 2018 at 7pm.

And yes; it’s everything our Stilton-craving, camembert-guzzling hearts hoped it would be: every morsel, from the amuse bouche to the dessert, is an ode to a straciatella, a goats cheese, a cheddar or a cream cheese.

The evening begins at 7pm with a drinks reception before guests take their seats for a four-course cheese extravaganza.

Every course will be a new celebration of an Irish cheese (scroll down for a sneak peek at the full menu), with each dish prepared by one of Cork’s finest chefs.

As if this could get any better, every plate will be paired with the perfect wine – an ideal combo and possibly the best night out ever invented.

It’s one of the star attractions of the first ever Cork Cheese Week, which will also include The Cork Cheese Fair at the Cork Airport Hotel on Saturday, September 29th and Sunday, September 30th.

From 11am to 5:30pm each day, you can wander the stalls, tasting new cheeses from all over the country. When you’re finished selecting your favourites (bring a bag for your haul) you can check out workshops, talks and demonstrations on everything from cooking cheesy goodies to traditional cheesemaking.
