Are you Cork’s answer to Kate Moss?

Turns out you really don’t need to be supermodel material to make a few bob from your looks – even your Nan can do it.

A local stock photography company is searching for models in all age groups and of every shape and size to take part in their photoshoots.

Stock photography is made available to publishers and businesses to be licensed for specific uses, which range from illustrating stories in magazines to forming part of ad campaigns in leaflets and on billboards.

Wavebreak Media are based in Ballincollig and have sister businesses in Cape Town, Poland and Vancouver. Their stock photography is used all over the world, so they are constantly on the lookout for fresh faces to add to their books.

“It’s paid work, great for students – as it’s usually in four-hour slots – in and around Cork city.” says Wavebreak Media Art Director Aoife Lynch.

“I know there are some charmers, rogues and beauties in our wonderful city and I’d love to work with them.”
