Lidl’s new Easter eggs are fierce fancy altogether

Dark chocolate is packed with antioxidants, you know.
That’s what we’ll be muttering to ourselves as we stuff our faces with (both of) Lidl’s brand new luxury Easter eggs.
The Deluxe Premium Chocolate Easter Eggs (a bargain €6.99) come in two delicious flavours; a full bodied Ecuadorian dark chocolate egg “with intense cocoa flavours and a subtle floral aroma” and a luxurious Madagascan dark chocolate egg with delicate fruity notes and a sweet cocoa aroma.
Both dark chocolate eggs hit Lidl stores tomorrow, February 22nd.
All Easter eggs from Lidl are certified UTZ, which stands for sustainable farming of cocoa, as well as tea and coffee, so you can rest assured your purchase is benefitting more than just you.
If dark chocolate doesn’t float your boat, the Deluxe Easter Eggs are back in four decadent flavours on March 1st; Fudge Feast, Eton Mess, Dark Mocha and Cornish Sea Salted Caramel (all €4.99).
The Eton Mess is a festival of luxurious Belgian white chocolate laden with white chocolate drops sprinkled with tangy strawberry and crunchy meringue pieces.
Made with rich Belgian milk chocolate, the fudge feast comes loaded with heavenly white chocolate drops dotted with Cornish vanilla and chocolate fudge pieces.
