‘Cold, very unsettled and changeable’ – here’s your Monday weather

Motorists travelling from Cork to Dublin experienced serious delays on the M8 last night as snow showers and ice caused traffic chaos.
Some drivers were trapped in their cars for more than six hours, many taking to Twitter to find answers.
Conditions are much improved this morning, as the Status Yellow weather warning issued by Met Éireann for 18 counties on Saturday comes to an end.
According to the national forecaster, this morning will be frosty, with ice and some lying snow in central and eastern parts of Munster and some mist and fog also.
