Celebrity chef John Torode’s foodie jaunt around Kinsale will be shown on RTÉ

Expect to see some familiar faces.
Celebrity chef John Torode’s six-part food and travel series is set to be aired on RTÉ 2, taking viewers behind the scenes at some of Cork’s busiest restaurant kitchens.
Produced by Cornelia Street Productions, John Torode’s Ireland was shot on location last year, enthralling a global audience on the Food Network and Discovery+.
Now more Irish viewers will see the Masterchef star, restaurateur, and cookbook author visit Rare 1784 at Kinsale’s Blue Haven Hotel, where he chats to The Blue Haven’s Ciarán Fitzgerald and Head Chef Meeran Manzoor about what it takes to keep visitors raving about their seasonal menus.

In Cork, John also goes to the legendary Ballymaloe Cookery School where he makes soda bread with the matriarch of modern Irish food, Darina Allen and joins Martin Shanahan of Fishy Fishy to make the ultimate soup from freshly caught fish.
John Torode’s Ireland starts on Friday, June 30th on RTÉ 2 at 8.30pm.
