Blowdries, barre and boobs: A girly brunch with an important message

Here’s a Sunday treat you can feel good about.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Flex in the City is throwing the ultimate girly shindig to raise money for the Irish Cancer Society.
The Penrose Wharf Pilates studio has teamed up with Sobe Brown to lay on an entire day of fun designed to help you look and feel better in record time.
Kicking off in Sobe Brown salon on Morrison’s Quay at 11am on Sunday, October 21st, the Barre Boobs Blowdries Brunch begins with a barre class – a ballet-inspired workout that tones the entire body and strengthens the core.
Afterwards, everyone will enjoy some bubbles while listening to an expert guide explain exactly what we should be looking for during a breast self-exam.
Then the incredible Sobe Team (just back from London and Paris fashion weeks) will lead a blow dry masterclass before a delicious brunch is served by Ali’s Kitchen in the salon.
It’s the ideal way to spend a Sunday, in our book.
Tickets are €50 and numbers are strictly limited. You can sign up in the Flex in the City studios or in the Sobe Brown salon. Email hello@flexinthecity.ie or call the studio on 021 239 1700 for enquiries.
