This boutique Cork hotel has its own seaweed bath house

Dreaming of a detox?
If a soothing steam and a soak in detoxifying seaweed sounds like your idea of bliss, get yourself down to Ballylickey.
Perched on the coast road between Bantry and Glengarriff, Seaview House Hotel, an Original Irish Hotels member, has unveiled a new Seaweed Bath House and Spa.
Firstly, the views are a treat in themselves…
Secondly, this little hotel has arranged everything you need for a rejuvenating getaway that will leave you brimming with ‘back to school’ energy.
A separate building to the rear of the country house hotel, the Bath House overlooks a rockery with natural grasses and shrubs and a wood burning outdoor hot tub and steam room.
The real fun, however, is inside, where three seaweed bath suites boast two cast iron baths each, so you can chat to your mates or your other half while you soak.
The suites also feature individual cedar barrel steam boxes, therapeutic Lyapko applicators for boosting circulation and luxury Voya products.
All the seaweed used is handpicked and only organic products are used in the facials and massages offered in two treatment rooms.
The Seaview Hotel has overnight stays for around €140, but you can also book afternoon tea and spa packages directly with the front desk.
