GROUND is hosting a Breast Cancer Awareness evening at Brown Thomas Cork

Here’s one for the gals WhatsApp Group.
An evening focused on self-care, friendship and breast health is coming to Brown Thomas Cork this October as GROUND founder Peigín Crowley hosts the brand’s annual Breast Cancer Awareness event.
The event takes place on Thursday, October 8th at 7.30pm on the second floor of Brown Thomas Cork, with Crowley joined by friends Kim O’Sullivan and Triona McCarthy for an open conversation around burnout, wellbeing, friendship and the importance of checking in with ourselves.
The event, titled “A Call to Tune In: Minding Our Girls,” will encourage guests to slow down and pay attention to the signs that can sometimes be easy to overlook – whether that’s feeling run down, overwhelmed or simply not quite feeling like yourself.

Breast health will also be a key part of the conversation, with the panel highlighting simple ways to make breast checks part of an everyday self-care routine.
Alongside the event, GROUND is launching a limited-edition “Minding Our Girls” gift set for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Priced at €40, the set includes a 30ml Sleep Pillow Spray and a 60ml Night Body Balm.
There’s also a charitable element, with €10 from every gift box sold being donated to Look Good, Feel Better Ireland, which supports people living with cancer.
Tickets for the Cork event cost €30 plus booking fees, with the full ticket price redeemable against GROUND products at Brown Thomas Cork. Guests will also receive a goody bag.
With a mix of honest conversation, practical wellbeing advice and a chance to catch up with friends, the evening is all about making a little more time to pause, check in and look after yourself.
