A Cork company is busting myths around menopause (with a CBD Balm that could help)
It’s the last taboo in women’s health.
And one Cork wellness company is aiming to shine a spotlight on the whispered advice and shame that still surrounds the topic of menopause in Ireland and help midlife women to access support and solutions.
To celebrate the launch of their Balancing CBD Balm for Peri-Menopause & Menopause, GROUND wellbeing will host an online workshop entitled ‘Understanding the Journey into Menopause’ on November 7th, 2021 at 7pm.

“There is so much about the journey towards menopause that we do not know about and we need to learn more in order to equip ourselves and our mental health.
“My mentor and leader in this case is Catherine O’Keeffe AKA @wellnesswarrior who is trailblazing a superb educational, warm and engaging space for women +40.
“I had begun taking ethos CBD mid-lockdown and I found it excellent. I had coupled it with ashwagandha supplements and it had really helped with anxiety and sleep. Being able to combine both into a soothing balm to incorporate into a nighttime ritual has been a labour of love.
“Catherine will be joining me in our next Self Care Workshop to discuss how we can prepare and equip ourselves so that we are empowered and learn to thrive during this transition phase, a rite of passage.”
