Your shares helped Bailey the lurcher find a forever home

Here’s a lovely bit of news to kick off your week.
Back in March, we published a story on Bailey, a handsome lurcher who was homeless and in the care of Cork Dog Action Welfare.
DAWG volunteers describe him as ‘everyone’s friend’, a very sincere dog with a gentle temperament.
Sadly, nobody had offered him a permanent home.
However, the reasons to adopt him were many; he’s fully housetrained, he looks spiffing in a bandana and his main interests are stretching his legs in the day time and lounging in a cosy living room by night.
Now, thanks to kind hearted Yay Cork readers who shared the post far and wide on social media, Bailey has finally found a loving family to live with.
After a year in the shelter, he heads off to Cahir in Co. Tipperary to start a new life in his forever home next week, after his new owners read about his story.
We’re sure he’ll be the best boy.
