If you’re a dog lover who is not too crazy about long walks, your ideal canine companion might be waiting at Cork Dog Action Welfare.

Prudence (Pru for short), is a little old lady with dementia who is in immediate need of a loving home where she can live out her days in peace.

Currently staying in foster care, where her carers say she is “good as gold”, Pru deserves a home to call her own for her remaining years. She doesn’t need to be top dog either; she gets along fine with other calm animals so she might be a good fit for your posse.

“Pru never barks, is deaf but has perfect eyesight.” a DAWG spokesperson told Yay Cork.

“She loves to potter around the garden and is house trained if she is let out regularly. Pru LOVES to sleep and sleeps through the night perfectly. She is so adorable and we really would love to find this loving girl a comfy couch for her remaining time.

“She is a very golden oldie with lots of love to give.”
