If bobbing about in a tub of hot water while taking in the seaside scenery sounds like your idea of a perfect afternoon, make a beeline for Robert’s Cove this weekend.
Wild Atlantic Seaweed Baths are returning to Rocky Bay this Saturday and Sunday, with barrels of freshly poured steaming water and locally harvested, sustainable seaweed to soak your aching muscles in.
Bathing in seaweed has a number of proven benefits, from lowering body stress and relieving skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and acne to soothing sore muscles and joint stiffness.
Wild Atlantic Seaweed Baths can be enjoyed by people of all ages so it’s an invigorating day out for all the family.
Rocky Bay is between Nohoval and Roberts Cove (approximately 20 minutes from Kinsale and Carrigaline).
The cost is €35 for one person using a bath and €50 for two adults sharing a bath. Children under the age of 16 years old are free with a parent or guardian using the baths but must be supervised at all times.
