Looking for a stylish venue for a launch or a photoshoot?
Finding a space suitable for an intimate event isn’t as easy as it sounds, but now a local entrepreneur has come up with a picture-perfect solution.
Food stylist and photographer Monika Coghlan runs Studio Five, a boutique creative space and photography studio-for-hire in Midleton.
TBH we kind of want to move in permanently but we’ll have to settle for a visit.
Flooded with natural light, the 120 sq m premises boasts a fully equipped kitchen and a prop room, all tastefully decorated in a neutral New Nordic colour palette.
Studio Five is a versatile space with the potential to organise photoshoots, host workshops, pop-up dinners, product launches, and other small events.
There’s a large extendable dining table and chairs as well as a comfortable lounge area with a sofa and a coffee table for gathering around during an important meeting or a company retreat. Dinnerware, glassware, and cutlery are also available for up to 10 people… there’s even a tablescaping service available at an extra cost.
Monika came up with the idea through her work with restaurants, cafes, hotels, and food and drink producers.
“I’d been looking for a studio space for a long time before I found the right one,” she told Yay Cork.
“The unit in Midleton ticked all the boxes. It took a few months to renovate, decorate the space, and finally open for business.
“The space supports photographers and videographers, creative agencies and chefs, and has been designed for clients to create and connect,” Monika added.
