Halloween is the best time of year for some creepy crafting.
Now you can get your creativity fix with a hefty dollop of horrible history at an exceptionally cool art workshop happening at Nano Nagle Place on Douglas Street, Cork on Wednesday, October 30th, 2019.
Craft fans aged six and up are invited to the atmospheric former convent from 11am until 12.30pm on the day to help construct an 18th Century haunted doll house.
The freaky fun begins with a quick tour telling the story of Nano Nagle and some spooky stories about Cork. Then everyone will decamp to the art room, where shoeboxes, papers, paints and crafty materials will be provided so crafters of all ages can get to work.
Registration for kids is €4 (plus booking fee) via Eventbrite here and adults go free.
Parents and guardians must stay with their child at all times so make a day of it and check out the tomb of Nano Nagle, laid to rest in the graveyard of the Ursuline Convent in 1784 and the Sisters Graveyard nearby when you’re finished.
