Do you like a sugar hit first thing on a Friday?

If so, make a beeline for St Patrick’s Street this morning, where Krispy Kreme is giving away doughnuts for National Doughnut Day.

To celebrate the biggest doughnut day of the year, Krispy Kreme is giving away 1,200 free Original Glazed doughnuts across the country, no purchase necessary.

The free doughnuts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in Krispy Kreme shops across Ireland.

For those who aren’t able to get their hands on the freebie offer, Krispy Kreme is also offering half-priced Original Glazed dozens for the whole of National Doughnut Day.
